Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I have two layouts that I can swap between, QWERTY and Colemak. I'd like to have clear visual feedback on which layout is active by making the second layout glow a particular shade of solid color. Can this be accomplished?
Describe the solution you'd like
One basic solution might be a new section in Preference / My Keyboard that would allow us to assign LED effects to layers. I imagine that it could be as simple as a list of all layers, with the left side containing the layer number and the right side containing dropdowns of all the available LED effects, maybe also with the addition of a "no change" that does nothing for that layer.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've tried changing individual keys, but 1) that's a pain, and 2) it only works on the base layer once I've cycled to the very end of the LED schemes.
Additional context
I know that the default firmware does color the second layer almost entirely in red. This is pretty much what I want to do, but user-defined with the desired color for the desired layer.
