I clicked around all the accordions multiple times for braces and brackets, considered looking up the key codes for them to enter in the "custom key code" accordion, then gave up and searched the web for a Chrysalis-specific answer, all just to figure out how to set a key to {.
Describe the solution you'd like
An accordion of "brackets, braces, and other symbols" or similarly named which has all the printables not on the base qwerty layer.
When holding a modifier like shift or altgr, adjust the display and actions of the floating keyboard so that things like ?, !, {, } can be directly selected.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Above are all my suggestions -- I kind of think all of them should be implemented.
If anyone is looking for the current solution, you need to choose [ then under "modifiers" enable "shift". Makes sense once you know, but before you know, or if like me you're so incredibly used to your old Model 01 that you've forgotten that { is even on the same key of a regular keyboard as [, it's really not obvious.
