Board identification in Board Manager in IDE #2

I have the kit part-assembled and am trying to zero the servo on panel F (p14, step 7 of the instructions).

I followed the instruction to make the connections for the servo and connected the USB lead to my PC. Device Manager shows it as CH340. I followed the instructions for identifying the board. Mine says "ESP32 Plus" on the board and "ESPRESSIF ESP32-WROOM-32" on the chip.

The instructions say to use ESP32 Dev Module in the Board Manager. When I use this and compile window_servo.ino I get a long series of compile errors. I've tried other boards with "WROOM" in the titles but no success.

What do I need to do?

Thanks.
