Installation on Mac #8

I'm trying to install VIP on mac (OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.16).

For this to work, I had to change the installer file db_installer.sh command for the md5 checks to md5 -r "md5" and this started the download. Then, I had the following error messages

db_installer.sh: line 291: cd: [PATH]/[TO]/[DATABASE]/FAST/: No such file or directory -e Tue 2 Aug 2016 16:16:30 BST db_installer.sh Necessary files not found. Exiting... -e Influenza_All.nt.tar.gz NONFLU_All.nt.tar.gz

The Influenza_All.nt.tar.gz was the last successfully downloaded file.

For the error db_installer.sh: line 291: cd: [PATH]/[TO]/[DATABASE]/FAST/: No such file or directory, you might substitute [PATH]/[TO]/[DATABASE]/FAST/ for something like /home/liyang/VIPDB/FAST.
