It would be great to fix this – or maybe put a cautionary message on the screen where one installs after compiling the package. I just spent a lot of time reinstalling, rebooting Windows, etc. since the keyboard appeared to install correctly. Finally I found this post which solved the issue since my keyboard was on a network drive.
Describe the bug
When you try to install a keyboard that is located on a network drive, it goes through the process of "installing", but it doesn't show up. Marc said a solution would probably be to copy first to the temp directory, and then give the elevated process that location to copy from.
