Support ASUS VG289Q1A monitor #111

macOS version 11.4 Cable: DisplayPort Monitor: ASUS VG289Q1A

I tried running the following command: ./ddcctl -d 1 -v 30

Output: D: CGDisplay 747699B6-E328-BA2E-6DE7-88CAF0261D93 dispID(#751472655) (2560x1440 0°) HiDPI I: found 1 external display E: Failed to find display in WindowServer's preferences! (/Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist) I: polling EDID for #1 (ID 751472655 => (null)) I: got edid.name: ASUS VG289Q1A D: action: v: 30 D: setting VCP control #98 => 30 E: Failed to send DDC command!

I ran the command again and got a different result:

D: CGDisplay 747699B6-E328-BA2E-6DE7-88CAF0261D93 dispID(#751472657) (2560x1440 0°) HiDPI I: found 1 external display I: polling EDID for #1 (ID 751472657 => IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0@0/AppleACPIPCI/PEG0@1/IOPP/GFX0@0/ATY,Palena@3/AMDFramebufferVIB) I: got edid.name: ASUS VG289Q1A D: action: v: 30 D: setting VCP control #98 => 30 E: Failed to send DDC command!

I have the monitor connected to a Thunderbolt 3 dock via HDMI and from the dock to my Macbook Pro 15".
