Tablet app periodically stops or does not start #75

Sometimes when starting the tablet app it will not start the 1st or 2nd time. It will flash the splash screen and then exit. Also, when leaving the tablet on overnight with the tablet app running, I've found in the morning that the app is not running.

No logging in the app makes it difficult to figure out why this is happenining.

Windows event viewer shows that the cause is it is taking too long to start up. Need to implement an extended start screen
