So... was talking about Bendakai with some people and an interesting suggestion was made: what about giving people the option to have a "virtual pantry" rather than entering their food every time? This would especially help with staples that they keep constantly stocked; they could uncheck something if they happen to be out but generally have it, and any special ingredients could be added individually or perhaps have a slightly different interface.

(Adding this feature could make it possible for OSCA to use Bendakai!)

I was going to implement it such that people would add their food to their pantry, and it would stay there until unchecked. I have an issue for it here: https://github.com/kgodey/Bendakai/issues/22 - sorry about the lack of detail, it was mostly meant as a note to myself.
