can we handle landscape photos better? #33

It looks like the default picture orientation on the front page is portrait. Most of the bands are a landscape photo.

For instance this doesn't look so hot

Can we handle that better?

Craig also commented that

It’d be best to show individual photos of band members only when there’s no band photo URL to show. The logic of that should be implementable. Would that a reasonable feature request?

But that also gets complicated. But it might be related?
