Is there any way for the app to prevent the browser from zooming? It also screws up track lines.

I just did some googling. It seems there's no way to prevent the browser from zooming, but the browser zoom level can be detected to adjust the zoom factor in the map so the misbehavior could be avoided or at least alleviated.

I downloaded and tested the scripts from http://blog.sebastian-martens.de/2009/12/how-to-detect-the-browser-zoom-level-change-browser-zoo/ . The detection worked on a macbook pro using Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
