Can't determine when odss is in "live" mode #110

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Open Firefox 23.0.1 on MacOS Mountain Lion 2.Go to url odss.mbari.org 3.Look at green checkmark next to label "Mode: Live" 4.Click on green checkmark What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I would expect the green checkmark to change in some way to reflect the mode, and perhaps the map and other displays to update in some way. I do see the latter happen, but the green checkmark does not change - cannot tell what mode the odss is in. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Mac OS 10.8.4, Firefox 23.0.1 Please provide any additional information below.
