2 months ago I believe the game thinks you're still alive because your hp is still 1 after 'death' so you don't get the stake option, just the usual grace warp. It would be pretty annoying to deal with this as the tool doesn't know if you're really dead either.
There's some workarounds:
- Save your position outside the arena and restore it (you can hotkey this), also saves time for bosses with no stake
- Turn off 1 hp and Die (this just gives you 0 hp) before the screen fades to black (again with hotkeys)
- Use set HP to manually give yourself 1hp rather than freezing it at 1, though this is manual it's fast with the numpad
- Noclip back to the fog gate
- No Death so you don't die
- Use a save manager and restore a save each time

When you have 1 HP box enabled and you die and stilll have the box checked after you die, the game doesn't let you choose between a stake of marika or nearest site of grace. I tested it with the box checked off and it works fine but when it is checked it, it loads me straight to grace.
Tested it during the Mohg arena/fight, not sure if this issue persists with other stakes too. Restarted my game and still got this issue during mohg.
