Is a blank line required after a comment using <!-- -->?
Caption of a figure depends on the blank line after a comment.
Here is a example of try.mdown.
Figures
========
<!-- comment -->
![Figure Caption right below comment.](Picture1.png)
<!-- comment -->
![Figure Caption after a blank line](Picture1.png)
<!-- this comment -->
This is right below the comment.
<!-- another comment -->
Content line after a blank.
Run pandoc
pandoc -s -o try.tex try.mdown
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The caption of the first figure is not shown in the LaTeX output.
The caption of the second figure is shown correctly.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
pandoc 1.9.4.2
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
