Hello,
I'm using latex on FreeBSD. Tonight when I try to run 'mkluatexfontdb' before I try the LuaLaTeX, I finally get the error 524 from 'otfl-font-nms.lua': Cannot open the file /etc/fonts/fonts.conf.
I know the reason. The above file is located in /usr/local/etc/fonts/fonts.conf on FreeBSD. Then I made a symlink and finished.
I have checked the file otfl-font-nms.lua, and found that the script didn't separate FreeBSD from other UNIX-like systems, such as GNU/Linux. So I asked you to modify the script to make a convenience for our FreeBSD users.
Thanks a lot.
