What error does it show? Do you mean a popup? Or is the progress bar red
because the tracker was showing an error (which is indeed a new feature in
Transdroid)? You can see the tracker errors in the torrent details screen.

I have same issue... progress bar goes full and red and shows as error...
Switch back to 1.1.7 and no issue.

Sure, but this is because I implemented issue 336. I suppose not everyone
agrees that this is the best solution? Any suggestions on how to improve this?
To be clear, the bars are red and giving an error message because the tracker
reported an error.

So if i understand correctly it stops the torrent and shows as error if the
tracker fails...
Torrents once they start gaining seeds don't really need the tracker to
continue... yeah fine flag it up that the tracker errored but no need to bring
everything to a stop

No, the torrent isn't stopped. You are right, it looks like it is now, but it
isn't. I will look into how to make this more clear.

My main problem is that the progress isn't visible. Is there a way to maybe
mark the entry red how it is done now but display the progress?

suggestion: keep the progress bar from the previous version but mark erroreous
torrents with a red exclaimation mark.

good idea

I'm not even sure how the web interface deals with this?
It's easy enough to make tracker errors 'non-severe' (i.e. not show the whole
torrent as being in an error state) and still show the tracker errors in the
details. A red exclamation mark (or something) seems like a good idea.

Any chance of having this fixed soon? Otherwise it would be nice to deactivate
checking for updates in the app. I'm running 1.1.7 and every time I start
Transdroid it tells me that there is an update available.

Isn't fixed in 1.1.10.

still no change in 1.1.10 for me...

Yeah, I still get this. The WebUI shows errors in the details, but doesn't show
them in the list of jobs, so I think Transdroid should do the same (or at least
have the option to do so).

Reverted the tracker-error-as-blocking change in r80c7a472bfd2. Will be in next
release.
