Feature request: support for re-plotting and delay #55

I would really like to be able to create simple animations by replotting over 
and over again. Calling plot multiple times with the current version causes new 
plot windows to appear rather than overwrite the existing plot.

I realize that the plotting engine might undergo major changes, but in the mean 
time would it be easy to add support for something like clf? (Or something 
similar)

Also adding a delay function (sleep) would be useful for this kind of thing.
