Same here,

Device can unmount the emmc, checks for necessary programms to be uninstalled
and then says:
"Failure formatting /dev/emmc1 Bailing Out" Or something similar.

I have a fresh reflash of PR 1.2

Issue 36 has been merged into this issue.

I had the same issue as Issue 36 that got merged in this one, namely that the
ext3 format wouldn't complete, and after pressing enter gave the bailing out
error.

I got around it by reformating the sdcard manually using the manual
installation instructions, after trying the automatic installer again it worked.

It was hanging for me formatting ext3 after inserting a brand new sd card. As
mentioned earlier, fdisk/formatting on the computer and re-starting the
installer fixed.
