I believe that the the extension should do nothing when:
2 monitors are connected and
the "Gnome settings | Multitasking | Workspaces on primary display only" is enabled
(ie. windows in the secondary monitor workspaces remain always visible) , and
a window in the secondary window was selected.
To put it another way, when during a workspace switch the visibility of the focused window didn't change, its focus shouldn't have changed, either.
