Not working with Kodi 19 (Matrix) #185

Since I updated Kodi to its latest version (19.1) this extension unfortunately stopped working. It simply says "Unable to connect to Kodi".

Can confirm. Windows 10 Chrome 96 and Matrix => not working

try this one, requires some fiddling to get it installed but just tried (kodi 19.3) and it's still working: https://github.com/evantaur/play-to-xbmc-chrome

I have no idea what has happened to @khloke but he hasn't pushed any commits in a year... i hope he's ok.

I added extension to the Chrome but I cannot enable it.

"This extension is not listed in the Chrome Web Store and may have been added without your knowledge."

Might need to enable developer mode from your browser

The problem solved: unpacked the crx and "Load unpacked" in Developer mode.
