Unable to delete the part of my search text in the google search text box #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type the search text and click search button
2. After getting the result, delete the part of text say for example , Search 
text = Wonderful Day , Delete the word = Day
3. It is reloading the whole search word again and getting the result. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected result is , it should show the result for the remaining text.
What is happening is , search engine getting the result for deleted text

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Chrome  19.0 and operating system - Windows 2007

Please provide any additional information below.
