liveforit's Mplayer crashes when creating a png file from a video frame

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Issue the following command:

APPDIR:MPlayer_live -ss 10 -vo png:outdir=Start_Frame -nosound -frames 1 
"Ram:video.avi" 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The png file is created in the specified directory as it should be but then 
MPlayer crashes causing a guru.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

liveforit MPlayer v5.2 on and X1000 runing OS4.1 upd6. Crash occurs with both 
Altivec and non-Altivec versions.   Also occurs with version 4.2.   MUIMPlayer 
works fine.

Please provide any additional information below.

I've attached a file showing MPlayers command line output and a crash log.
