Visual indicator mapping age slider to focus view #3

Sometimes there are no events in the selected age range for a given category. This can be confusing. It would be good to have a visual indicator on either side of the timeline that displays how many events are before or after the selected age range. It would be good to have a feel for the best way to present this visually before implementing (@chad-cognition).

I think this is important enough that I went ahead and just added some helper text to indicate how many events are in/before/after a given view. If we want to dress this up visually, we can. Here's what it looks like now:

This is great. It might be good to break this up so the “15 events during this period.” Is in the bar. Then, “<- 59 events” might be somewhere to the left side. And, “20 events ->” is displayed to the right. Although there might not be room for this on the side.
