What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Deactive auditble bell
2. Deactivation works
3. Disconnect shell and close app
4. Restart app and connect
5. Audible bell is active
6. check settings, audible belll shows as still be deactivate
7. tick and untick audible bell button
8. Audible bell is deactivated again
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?

What type of system are you trying to connect to?
If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?
