App does not restart correctly after crash/kill #197

As discusses in IRC. Steps for reproduction:

  1. Start Live Channels from the launcher, and tune to a TVHeadend channel
  2. Start the app by clicking the Run button in Android Studio, this kills the running instance
  3. Any attempt to open or use Live Channels then results in a black screen where the program should be displayed. Menus, epg, etc. work correctly. The app is running, but does not log anything useful (few things from avc and GCs, and some stuff from MigrateUtils and InstantRun, nothing else)
