Sure it's possible, but I don't have time to make it available for i18n. I'll try to ask if anyone interested in helping us. :)

Just wonder what you want to have using this? This project didn't have good backend yet as most data were imported using scripts.

If you just want to collect data about candidates, you may try to use https://github.com/kiang/elections/ . I worked on that more and it has a basic reviewing process to gather data from anonymous, aka crowd sourcing.
