IpHoNe wont stay with carrier ( after successful downgrade to 1.1.1 from unsuccessful upgrade to 1.1.2) #76

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Got a iPhone OTB 1.1.1.Working fine with anySIM 1 until i tried to
upgrade to 1.1.2 with anySIM 1.2u.Iphone got stuck half way throughout the
process. Tried to restart to no avail.(Rebooting constantly to recovery mode)
2. Decide to then downgrade back to my original 1.1.1 and after a few go's
without getting anywhere with anySIM1 i decided to downgrade my baseband
(after reading it in one of your other issues).
3. So after BB downgrade and then manual re-install 1.1.1 and successfully
unlock with anySIM 1 i get the carrier to work but after a few hours it
disappears and get the no service signal.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Sim card works for a bit then and without any apparent sign goes to 'no
service'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Iphone 1.1.1 and 10.4.11

Please provide any additional information below.

i have read quite a few entries around but could not find any
relevant..forgive me if its out there ..

I have since re-downgrade following step 3 above and it seems to work fine so 
far.
The only difference now is that i havent restore my contacts/info/calendars 
from a
previous back-up in itunes. I will test it tonight see if that is what is 
causing the
phone not to recognice the sim card.
