Thanks for contributing this. I would like to get this merged in asap. Could you fix a few things:

Commit messages as per https://github.com/kidoman/embd/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md
Move glog logging to V(1) atleast and have the messages confirm to how it is in other sensor packages
