This is a noob question from someone who should know better (me, in case that's not clear):
I updated some bundles, made some tweaks to seemingly unrelated things, and now the current CtrlP mode no longer displays in the statusline. Cycling between modes with etc. works fine but there is no indication of the mode you're in. I tried uninstalling bundles and undoing tweaks, all to no avail. Surely there is a simple way to troubleshoot and reinstate the CtrlP statusline? Any help is much appreciated!
Note that I am using Powerline. See attached for what I see after invoking :CtrlP
