This sounds like an upstream issue with yt-dlp
to me. Luckily, a new version of yt-dlp
was released today so I'll push a new version and see if that fixes it!
I pushed up a new release earlier. I'll close this issue, but please reopen it if you see that problem after updating!
Describe the bug It happened more than once that some video (from various sources) are only partially downloaded. In particular it seems that the downloaded video starts a few minutes later the real video.
To Reproduce Reproducing the bug is difficult.. it seems mostly random. It never happened to me the first time I synced a source but it did happen for some of the next videos (but not all of them). In addition if you download the defective video and force a re-download it downloads it correctly
Expected behavior A video which is the same as the one you can watch online :)
