Support for split payment #142

It happens from time to time that customer wants to pay part of the bill with cash and the outstanding amount with card.

Is that a "implementable" feature at all for Woocommerce? That would mean multiple payment gateways on a single order.

This feature has been requested previously. It certainly is something I intend to work on, but there is no timeframe at the moment.

Things like split payments make sense in a POS, but they are not anticipated by WooCommerce core, so implementing a feature like this requires a large amount of work.

The next version of WooCommerce POS will include the ability to re-open some orders. This will allow things like layaway. This could be used for partial cash payments in the near future, but it will be a 'hack' until true split payment functionality arrives.
