The LICENSE is for the software that applies the ligature patch, not the font itself.
The modified font is still bound by the original license from H&Co.
Just a heads up that @gilbertoalbino had the right idea — this repo goes against H&Co's license — see below:
Restrictions. Licensee may not, and must ensure that no Person is able to: • extract, decompile, modify, reformat, translate, reverse-engineer, assemble, re-digitize, or discover the source code of, or remove or disable any Security Feature of, any Licensed Software or other H&Co Property; ... • create any customization, variant, adaptation or Derivative Work of any Licensed Software or other H&Co Property, or any font software, font design, or typography that incorporates or imitates the data, design, or design statistics of, or that is substantially similar to, the Licensed Software;
I am only pointing this out because H&Co is now owned by Monotype and I would not want to mess with them...
Hi, there!
As most people should know, Operator Mono is a paid font. I am not sure if enabling ligatures makes it a new font. This repository has its own copyright over its releases, or is this subject to Operator Mono License?
