I see. Did you update an existing project or install the package fresh?

Looks like I need to update the v1-route-convention package to v0.1.3, which has the updated peer dependency.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling remix-flat-routes to see if you get the newer v1 package.

I have the same issue. Uninstall/reinstall does not help.
