Google inq on IE9 hangs #380

I've had this prob with ie8 as well... thought 9 might fix it, but it hasn't.

When I do a google search, the results come back satisfactorily, but the screen 
freezes for 20-40 seconds before I can click on any of the returned items.

I've run Ad-Aware thinking spyware might be slowing things down.. but that 
hasn't helped either.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

The WebM project works on components that support WebM playback in IE9, but 
this sounds like an issue with IE itself. You might be able to find more 
information here:

I found that AVG has an IE add on meant ot check google search results.  But it 
brings your browser to a crawl.  Disable that if you have it and see what 
happens...
