DirectShow Filters Installer improvement #73

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
would be nice if we could chose what to install on the dshow installer, as i
dont want the encoder or the splitter/mux filters as i all ready use Haali
Matroska Splitter, mkvtoolnix 4.0.0 and IVFEnc for encoding

and for the love of everyone include a link to xiph dshow page or include a
vorbis decoder, when people download webm dshow filter package they should get
all the codecs to watch and hear .webm files!

other than that, keep up the good work for teh world wilde wibble

Thank you for submitting this bug report.

I've have been in contact with the author of the Xiph DirectShow filters. We
should have a resolution soon about WebM Vorbis filters.

I'll speak to Tom Finegan (he wrote the installer) about providing a "Custom
Install" option, that allows you to chose which filters to install.

The repository now includes WebM-centric Vorbis encoder and decoder filters.
