After setting up a custom field of type auto tags the customer form does not save anymore

Describe the issue

I have added a custom field for the customer object. The field is set as mandatory and the type is auto tag. After setting it up I can use it perfectly in the form. But when I once set it for a customer I cannot edit the customer anymore. While saving I will always get an error message stating "The value should be of type string" back.

Following the versions we use:

Kimai: 2.18.0
Custom Fields: 2.5.0

I already tried

How do you run Kimai?

Virtual Server or alike

please grab the latest version from https://license.kimai.org/ and let me know if that fixes the issue.
