Wokd Service Not Installed/Created #1204

Closed ShimmyFlick closed 6 years ago

ShimmyFlick commented 6 years ago

Hello hopefully I am posting this in the right spot. I am trying to install this on Ubuntu 16.4.3 LTS and the wokd service does not seem to get created. Is this supported in this version of Ubuntu?

Hi –

I followed this procedure - http://www.ubuntuboss.com/ubuntu-server-16-04-as-a-hypervisor-using-kvm-and-kimchi-for-vm-management/

I did not get any errors when following this procedure, there is just now wokd service afterwards.

Hello, could you describe the process for installing in your distro please (include screens or error messages)???

Thanaks

That article just explain how to install kimchi (wok's plugin for virtualization).

I suggest you do this:

1.- https://github.com/kimchi-project/wok Include Ubuntu/Debian dependences.

2.- https://github.com/kimchi-project/kimchi Plugin for management your vm.

Awesome! All set now, it must have been the dependencies that was causing the issue for me. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
