Support for "Perl project with existing sources" in the Perl Project plugin 
would be nice, similar to other language plugins.

Also, the ability to specify different paths for the project folder and 
NetBeans metadata folder would be VERY nice, similar to e.g. the PHP plugin 
(and some others I belive).

The feature has been implemented successfully and unit tests are successfull. 
This is passed on for further integration tests and will be available in the 
second beta release.
