/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ltesseract_api #13

I install leptonica from source.

http://www.leptonica.org/download.html

When I try : python setup.py build

I got the following error. 

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ltesseract_api

How do I export ?

Please help me.

Tesseract-ocr is now included in the download list
