Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
If I want run scan again, I see the message: "Directory already exists,
terminating deployment and scan attempt", but agent not starting.
Also after one scan there is no button for remove agent.
Summary: after scan I can't run another scan and I can't remove agent for
install it again from web interface.

Hi Bugaga,

You will have to manually go into the system (using psexec.exe or winexe) and
delete the files and directory. I will try to make this easier in a future
release.

Hi, Andrew.
I already solved this problem :)
There was interesting occasion in my systems: after copying of sc.exe (Ctrl+C &
Ctrl+V or with archiving) it didn't work.
But sc.exe, which was placed in WINDOWS\system32 directory worked normally.
With this knowledges I replace all '\"$path\\sc.exe\" with "sc.exe" in *.html
files of OpendLP, but forgot do it in file "results.html".
In result, when agent must be uninstalled, the service wasn't stopped, and
OpenDLP.exe, several *.dll files were stay in system.

In more recent versions of OpenDLP (0.4.x), I improved the cleanup process when
a scan ends. This is hopefully fixed now.
