The layout of the poster is generally very neat. I think the aesthetic feel of the poster might be improved if you use consistent spacing between bullet points. The Model section feels a little inefficient in the use of space. Also, though you indicate the meaning of the unit x at the very beginning of the Results section, it might help to redefine x again when you get to the text of the discussion. (The visual org of the poster as is encourages us to consider other information between the introduction of x and the discussion of x, which makes it more likely for readers to have forgotten what x is intended to capture) You might also consider combining the parameters used section within the model section of the poster.

I would also consider trying to include the two graphs above the model section more explicitly under the background section. It is not readily apparent (visually) how these plots are intended to function within the information flow of the rest of the poster. Clearly, this is an important question and I admire that you are taking it on, even though the data might not be the most robust.
