Is it just me, or this build does some uncalled for tasks such as repointing the entire table of OW sprites completely off his own accord?

Did this program always work like this? I only noticed it thanks to your build showing the feedback in a command line window.

EDIT: To clarify, this is what happens when I open a clean ROM of Pokémon FireRed (USA) v1.0 using your build of OWM.
