I disagree. It does work but perhaps not the way you expect.
The program disables just the tapping function while you are typing and that is
exactly
what annoyed me. Now you can type a text and if you accidentally hit the
touchpad while
typing it moves the pointer but it does not click and therefore your text
cursor
doesn't move elsewhere. Works like a charm for me.

I second that. Touchfreeze on my 311 is a must and it 'saved' my 311.

I agree. I almost scrapped my 311 until I found this program. This is necessary
for anyone with an ALS touchpad since ALS refuses to include a sensitivity
setting in their driver despite constant user frustration.
