X11 Forwarding Not working #190

system: Windows 11 server: Ubuntu 21.04 I try to open a gui program on remote server , I can't see it ,error: cannot open display: *.*.*.*:0.0

I repeat in mobaxterm ,no problem!

Do i need any other settings?

Sorry for the late reply. I just finished a long trip, and because there is no Internet, I can't deal with the issue in time.

The configuration is correct, and I am not sure if it is Windows 11 problem. Would you like to download and try the latest version WindTerm_2.2.0_Prerelease_1, because the new version improves the related code, maybe you can use X11 normally.

If the new version still has problems, please let me know, I will try to fix it. Thank you.

thanks,I tried to use it on win10 computer,It works normally.so,Maybe it's Windows 11 problem.

Currently WindTerm uses Xming as the X11 server. It is a bit old. So it may not work normally on Windows 11. There are plans to replace it with VcXsrv, a better X11 server. If there is any progress, I will update here. Please stay tuned, thank you.
