I have posted feature requests before and although this is kind of a repeat of
some other requests
i hope you guys dont just stomp on it like you have the others in the past, ive
said it before you guys resist implementing or improving some things saying
people wont use it or its pointless and so on..
well why do other loaders allow these things and why do people keep asking for
it and dont you want CFG to be and stay the best loader there is?
if the answer is yes then how about allowing some custom slots for IOS's
say having a row of IOS slots that can be set by config and meta arguments say
someone like me who has
hermes 5.1
waninkoko r17 blend, r19 & r21
d2x v6
and each of those has quite a few base IOS's that are useful
to cover each base IOS on each of those cIOS types it takes from slot 200
though slot 255 with only slot 236 used by 36 trucha patch from dr clipper and
254 for bootmii
so to just use the ones that are base 36 / 37 / 53 /57 /68 /60 which are the
most commonly required and used it is a pain to try and squeeze those in the
few IOS's you allow us to use from CFG
is this not CFG loader supposed to be completely configurable?
how about letting us completely configure which IOS slots are usable?
and how about letting us choose which ones are -mload and which are not?
i would just about freak if i could select which numbers between 200 and 255 i
could use to fill up maybe 16 or 32 possible slots in CFG then set any of those
optional slots in any of the games
this would truely make CFG totally configurable which is its namesake so im not
sure why it is something thats been overlooked i can see it now having
something like this in the meta arguments or config.txt
ios_0=202-mload
ios_1=202
ios_2=203-mload
ios_3=203
ios_4=204-mload
ios_5=204
ios_6=220-mload
ios_7=220
ios_8=221-mload
ios_9.......
ios.....
i.....
Think about it and im sure you can see how making this configurable will allow
more poeople to do more things with your application and it would make a lot of
people who have asked for you to let them have more slots or configurable slots

as i said it would be better to configure CFG loader to use the slots i wish to
use for usb backup loaded games instead of some partially outdated layout
someone else is imposing on me when im sure they dont have the same
requirements i do having certain IOS's for virtual nand emulation, wiiware
throught triforce and mighty channels and loading usb backup games along with
gcube stuff also homebrew apps using certain layouts and channel forwarders
you know this would be awesome im excited just thinking about it
