Why not try to install 1.0.21?

What happens if you disable the metadata in the plugin settings? Can you open
then the movies subdirectories?

Success! Disabling the metadata in the plugin settings has cured my problem.
Thanks very much for the reply. If I had missed that tip in previous postings
then I apologise for wasting your time but I'm very grateful to you for taking
the time to post the reply.
Thank you very much.

The problem I think was due to an old Icefilms plugin bug coming back to life
when used with XBMC Eden, see issue 72.

I have a question if I did a uninstall of ICEFILMS and reinstalled and disabled
the metadata would that fix the issue or would I have to replace the .py file
procedure than disable the metadata?

As I understand it - I'm sure an admin will correct this if wrong - the
Icefilms plugin automatically updated itself to 1.0.21 yesterday or the day
before after the script error bug started occurring. This meant that
overwriting the megaroutines.py file on the ATV2 was no longer necessary.
However, this didn't help with the script error problem particular to Movies
which I had before disabling the metadata option in the plugin settings.
Check to see if your Icefilms has updated itself to 1.0.21; if so, I wouldn't
expect you to need to re-install Icefilms (although I did as part of my
unsuccessful attempts to fix my script error problem); just turn off the
metadata option.
Hope this helps.

Hmm... not really able to suggest anything except the nuclear option:
Restore the ATV2 in iTunes then re-jailbreak and install the latest repo from
this site.
I set up a new ATV2 for my aunt yesterday - fresh out of the box Apple TV with
latest OS, Jailbreak using Seasonpass, ATV Flash Black 1.1.1 (my preferred
method to install XBMC) then SSH the repo from this site.
Hopefully someone else can offer a simpler solution but the above all done in
less than 30 minutes (including Plex and Grooveshark installations).
Good luck
