Exploring the downloads and experimenting I was able to get the special keys
back on
a 3gs 3.1.2 by installing these files:
hk.kennytm.5RowQWERTY-0.1-99h.deb
hk.kennytm.iKeyEx3-0.1-99h.deb

I looked and found that the special keys are contained in variants.plist file,
the same file in the 99j version does not contain as an elaborate description.

card
number, one of the few places on the web that seems to have problems dealing
with
this type of CC.
