Support automatic device registration #3

An idea was to pass the rPi serial number to the server as an additional field during authentication / sending of data. That way, the server can use that data for tracking purposes. I am worried about the case where a user uses the same image for multiple devices. In that case, a unique identifier would help.

Trevor can look into this now just to see how easy it might be to implement.

Initial working support added in 573eea4c. While not the best implementation, it works for now.
