Are you with your phone dead yet? the blank screen is the recovery mode. It's
normal. I've reported this issue over the website. www.iphodroid.com/uninstall

Same thing happened to me...here is what worked for me...First I had iOS 4.0
and used Pwnage 4.0 to jailbreak, then used R12...I wasnt getting the
touchscreen to work so I was frustrated and just threw it in my bag...Went to
go use it a few hours later and completely dead, screen wouldn't come on or
anything...Here is what worked for me...
1. Plug your iPhone into your mac using USB cable
2. Open iTunes on your mac
3. Hold down the POWER and HOME buttons on the iPhone for 11 seconds (if it
doesn't work the first time hold down for 15 seconds)
4. Let go of power button but keep holding the home button for however long it
takes for iTunes to recognize your iPhone (took about 8 seconds for me)
5. Restore and start all over again...P.S. restore to the original iOS 4.0..my
custom recovery file using pwnage wouldn't work
Hope it works

I had the exact same thing happen to me the blank white screen... it happens...
you batery being dead is another issue... I'm pretty sure your phone should
start charging when its plugged in to the wall.... if not... might have to swap
batteries... or some how get yours charged... but I would find it useless that
every time the iphone's battery hits 0% it doesn't work... good luck with this
... just know the device does live...!!!

Your iPhone is not DEAD. Here the solution:
- open itunes
- hold the power button for about 5sec
- hold the home button for about 10 sec (notice your're holding both then)
- release the power button and keep holding home until itunes detects the
device (about 15 sec)
- when itunes detects, you're in DFU mode
obs: remember to connect over USB and all procedure above is in completely dark
screen

Booted into Android. iPhone died after half an hour. I can't charge it, start
it, NOTHING. Now, I have an iBrick.
My iPhone is completely dead. Wall Charger, Mac and PC all don't work with it.
The power button does not work, so I can't go into DFU mode. I can't turn it on
at all.

... u noe they've told a lie... they say android is compatible with iOs 4 n
they havent mentioned any battery issues etc. on their site. well same happened
with me ... well i guess u have windows running ... download this
http://www.sendspace.com/file/it2vpm and run the 1clickboot software then what
you do is :
hold power and home buttons down for 6 seconds (there will be no chime on
computer) then let go of power, continue holding home button until the computer
makes the chime noise. AND VOILA! you get your iPhone in D.F.U. mode :) same
happened with me and it worked ... well i copied down this frm here... if you
dont get it.. watch this

@diegocrmd the white screen is the same as Recovery Mode (btw R12c fixed this).

the procedure bellow you will do with iphone in complete DARK screen
- open itunes
- hold the power button for about 5sec
- hold the home button for about 10 sec (notice your're holding both them)
- now release the power button and keep holding home until itunes detects the
device (about 15 sec)
- when itunes detects, you're in DFU mode (you will see itunes telling you)
obs: remember to connect over USB

@diegocrmd... yea i know the biggest thing that sucks about iphodroid is that
when we install it we can't use the iOs 4... but the website says that we can
use iOs4 n android both on our iDevice but the thing is tht if we install
android we HAVE TO use it... n iOs 4 stops working

jailbreak with redsnow 0.9.5b5-5 and use ios4 ipsw not ios 4.0.1 then use
iphodroid r12d and your done.

1. Connect it to the computer
2. Hold the power button for 5 sec
3. Continuing holding the power button and then press home button for 10 sec.
4. Keep holding the home button but release the power button .
And voila my thought to be bricked phone worked!

Ok! After installing iPhoDroid, my iPhone got totally dead! Pressing home
button or pressing power button and pressing both of them simultaneously didn't
worked at all. iPhone screen was totally black (displaying nothing at all).
These instructions worked well (Thanks Senad.Pasalic)!
1. Connect it to the computer and run iTunes.
2. Continuing holding the power button and home button for 10 sec.
3. After 10 seconds keep holding the home button but release the power button.
4. iTunes will detect your iPhone in DFU mode.
