Error using 1shot for 2g

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Clicking "Shoot!"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I want it to put android on my iphone 2g but instead it says "Error on 
Connecting iPhone

-Check USB cable
-Redsn0w is recommended

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I have an iPhone 2G with Pwnagetool unlock and jailbreak, I downloaded the 
proper version and I am on Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard with an iMac G5 no isight 
17".

Please provide any additional information below.

My USB cable and ports are fine for syncing to itunes and charging. My iPhone 
runs version 3.1.3 and is the 8GB model.

did you install afc2add from cydia? I did that and then have basically the same 
OS and setup as you, except I'm running 3.1.2

for some reason, 3.1.3 seems to be the only version that doesnt work with 
iphodroid. try downgrading to 3.1.2. when you get "error 1015" use the exit 
recovery feature of 1shot.

OK, for the past few hours I havejailbreaking been restoring,, and putting 
3.1.2 on it but still I have no luck. Exact same thing happens.

I get the same error as above, and i have rejailbroken "with redsn0w for 
windows cause my mac is a G5. and im on 4.0 3G Iphone

just DO NOT put your iphone into recovery mode...just make 1shoot with iphone 
on springboard...it worked for me
But now i cant get android start..the iboot start and i've hit install...

I didnt put it in recovery mode, nor DFU. But i have tried with them. I have 
tried multiple variations.... Anything else i might try?

I have that issue as well. Error connecting to iphone on a iphone 2G with 
Snowleopard on a MBP

I have the same issue. Mine is iPhone 3g 3.1.2 JB with redsn0w on Snow leopard 
MAC Intel based.

This USB issue happens to me every time. Did any of you guys try the following?
1) -click shoot. 
                Yes, maybe after this you will get the "-Check USB cable, -Redsn0w is recommended" problems.
2) -without unplugging your USB or iphone from the computer, close the program 
(1st shot) and try one-more-time.

3) -click shoot.
                It should work. that's how it works for me. I'm using a macbook, mac os 10.6.4

Didn't work for me I'm afraid.  1Shoot R13 has failed on every Mac I've tried 
(three of them), two different iPhones and a handful of cables.  R12 is fine so 
I'm pretty sure it's not a USB port / cable.  Plus iTunes can sync fine.
