Deleting a long-running post breaks the Older link

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a post. Create a second post and make several dozen updates to 
it
2. Delete the second post
3. It looks like _all_ of your old posts have been deleted because there is no 
"Older" link.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We should see an Older link that points to the post before the deleted post.

This was right after deleting my long running post, there are older jaikus but 
no
"older" link:
